Evidence has the power as a tool to convince people of the arguments you are presenting. Preparing evidence is your way to convince yourself before convincing others. That way, you will feel more confident to appear in front of everyone at the presentation.

Therefore, evidence is a fairly important component that you must prepare when presenting your argument in front of your boss, colleagues, or clients. You can use it if you don’t want to delve into the results of this research or field and quote some data or sentences from experts who study that field. Of course, this evidence can still have a convincing effect on the listener. You can take quotes from a book, journal, important figures, professors, scientists, etc.

But before you include quotes /quotes in your presentation, the following guidelines that you must answer questions to determine whether the quotes that you quote is credible or not:

  1. Is it an accurate quote?
  2. Is the author an expert in the field?
  3. Did the quote really come from that expert and match your information?

Now, after you re-analyze the quote you took, then you can determine whether the quote is accurate and in accordance with the information you conveyed.
